Come and light a candle for a lost loved one at Bangor

I AM writing so your readers don’t forget that we are lighting a special candle in memory of those lost to cancer this Christmas Eve.

The candle will be lit in Bangor Cathedral on Christmas Eve. Local people are welcome to come along and remember loved ones lost to cancer.

The World Cancer Research Fund¹s (WCRF) Candle of Hope appeal will start on December 24, with the memorial candle burning from Christmas Eve through to Twelfth Night.

As well as giving people in Bangor the opportunity to remember those who have been lost to cancer, it is also a chance to raise funds towards WCRF’s cancer prevention work.

To find out more about Candle of Hope or donate to the appeal, visit www.wcrf-uk.org/fundraising. To make a telephone donation, call 0800 970 1461 and quote ŒMedia¹.
