I HAVE recently moved house.
Everything went smoothly apart from the fact that I was without a phone or broadband for two weeks.
I tried to move my phone line and number to my new address which I already owned. Before I moved I was told there was a stop on my line and it could not be moved. I then got a letter from my supplier saying they were sorry I had cancelled them.
I hadn’t.
How anyone can do this on a private line I do not know and it must be illegal.
I was told originally I could keep my number which I have had for 33 years.
My friends have been phoning that number only to be told that I didn’t live there.
It’s a wonder I haven’t been listed as a missing person.
