I am confused about the Llandudno bridge work

I HEAR so many differing stories about the closure of the Maesdu Bridge, maybe someone can put me right.

It is supposed to be closed for nine months or a year?

Will a bailey bridge be built by the Army?

What arrangements are being made for all the events that Llandudno holds throughout the year?

Perhaps someone will enlighten me. Of course a new bridge has got to be built and of course out of the tourist season.

It was difficult to get out of Asda last Friday afternoon. The taxi drivers said the traffic congestion was due to the bridge closure and also half-term.

Is this true?

Will this last nine months?

I would love to know the answer to all these questions. Or are they rumours?
