Conwy county disabled bays are for the disabled

I AM writing to you regarding your article in the newspapers of November 12 and AM Darren Millar’s stupid idea of allowing pregnant women to park in disabled parking bays.

Since when are pregnant women deemed ill.

Most of them are the picture of health. Those that are not are looked after by the Health Service.

If they do need parking concessions, they should be allowed to park in mother and child bays, there are many more of these than disabled bays.

I voted for Mr Millar last time hoping he could bring some fresh ideas to help our area, but if this is all he can come up with, then I despair.

Had he done his homework he could have seen this himself.

I hope if he ever gets the chance to be selected for a private members legislative compliance order again he does something constructive with it, considering the state of the country.
