Sorry about the misunderstanding over Llandudno lifeboat station

MR Gordon Bellamy, the ex coxswain of the Llandudno lifeboat, and his wife Edith have been my friends for many years.

In recent time I have had long conversations with Gordon regarding, amongst other things, the proposals for a lifeboat house by the pier.

He has stated, and confirmed this week, that he is totally opposed to the plan.

He has followed my proposals for a new lifeboat house by the yacht club and published in the Weekly News with great interest but was kind enough not to suggest that my ideas were impractical.

I made the erroneous assumption that he was supporting my views. I now know that this was incorrect. I therefore wish to apologise to Gordon for any embarrassment this may have caused him. I am happy to say that we are still friends.
