Rocking time at the river event

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone involved with last weekend’s Rock the River evening event in Conwy.

There were a group of 11 of us who attended and I know we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

There was a great mix of music to suit most tastes. Everything had been thought of to make the most of the natural area while preserving it at the same time.

Food was easily available and of a good quality, but local eateries were also pointed out by the staff to ensure fairness.

The drinks tent not only had a good choice but was also competitively priced with the pubs in the area.

Even the toilets were beautifully clean for most of the night! There were ample dustbins and a plastic recycling bin for all the “glasses”.

Best of all was the organisation and security. Every member of staff was helpful and observant. There was also a police presence which we found to be reassuring rather than threatening.

The whole event appealed across the age ranges too. They really did Conwy proud.
