HOLIDAYING in Llandudno for 10 days, I was pleased to take my grand-daughter and grandson on the new mini train with their mum and dad and my husband.
On Wednesday, July 23, I paid £1 per person each way. The kids loved it so much that on the Thursday we decided to catch the train from the pier to go on the West Shore beach for the day.
I was astonished to find the train had gone up to £1.50 each way overnight. As a family of six, four adults and two kids, the price increase meant an extra £3 just one way for our family.
I shall not be catching the train again and I heard two local Llandudno people say it was a shame there are no offers for locals or the price is no cheaper for children.
Thanks for the ride, but sadly your prices are too expensive for our family and many others will agree.
