A FAMILY fun day is set to attract hundreds of visitors to Venue Cymru in the new year.
On January 9, the theatre will open its doors for the fourth annual family fun day.
Last year’s event saw more than 1,200 children and their parents flock to Venue Cymru for a day of free activities and workshops.
And this year promises to be even bigger and better.
Staff are working hard to secure new, exciting workshops in addition to bringing back some popular activities from last year.
A spokeswoman for Venue Cymru said: "It is hoped the free event will encourage families to come along after Christmas and experience what the theatre has to offer.
"Most people have different views on what happens at the theatre and we want to show people that the theatre has something for everyone.
"Last year’s event was very successful and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves."
This year’s highlights include dance workshops with Rambert Dance Company, drama workshops with Act- On-It, singing and theatre workshops with Llandudno Youth Music Theatre, Musical Exploration with Ensemble Cymru, circus skills, storytelling, Punch and Judy, face painting with Kaleidoscope Faces, a Sound of Music family singalong with Llandudno Youth Musical Theatre, clog dancing and street dancing, open drama workshops with Act-On-It for eight to 18-year-olds, massages for exhausted mums and dads and much more!
Doors open between 11am- 4pm and pre-booking is not necessary.
