Mamma mia! Solid gold hits from Abba

AN ABBA tribute band honouring the Swedish supergroup will entertain audiences at Rhyl’s Lyons/ Robin Hood nightclub on Saturday, June 13.

Solid Gold Music Productions present Abbasolutely in the ultimate live show Mamma Mia!

Dancing queens will not be able to resist moving to the beat at this legendary show.

The timeless song list will include famous hits such as Mamma Mia, Voulez Vous and Waterloo.

Abbasolutely is a five-piece, self contained professional act featuring live vocals, drums, guitars, and keyboards that recreate the classic sounds of the 1970s.

The tribute band has performed in theatres, civic halls, hotels, holiday centres and various corporate events.

They recently performed for the crowds at Liverpool’s famous Mathew Street Festival and were featured on BBC TV performing at Aintree Racecourse for the 2001 Martell Grand National Festival.

The original pop music group formed in 1972. The band consisted of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

They topped the charts worldwide from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s.

The music of ABBA has been rearranged into the successful smash hit musical Mamma Mia!, which was released in July 2008 as a film.

Doors open 9pm-1am, £10 admission on the door and full supporting Solid Gold disco.
