A GENTLE tale of love falls into place when two youngsters learn to conquer their irrational fears online.
A History of Falling Things by James Graham will be performed at Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold.
The 21st century love story is all about what it is to be young, confused and afraid.
Characters Robin and Jacqui find each other online and fall in love.
However they are too afraid to meet as they both suffer from a bizarre fear of falling things – and neither can leave the house!
Can Robin and Jacqui beat their fear and go outside on an adventure to meet?
Or can they find out what it is that actually makes them afraid?
James Graham commented: “I wanted to write a modern 21st century love story that was both uplifting and entertaining and yet also addressed issues I feel are close to me and my generation and in fact any generation.
“I wanted to explore this notion of ‘fear’ and how crippling it can be and the new methods of social networking and how friends and relationships mean very different things in the age of Facebook and MySpace to what they meant even a decade ago.”
A History of Falling Things will be performed at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold, in the Emlyn Williams Theatre from Thursday, April 23 to Saturday, May 9. To book tickets call 0845 330 3565 or book online atwww.clwyd-theatr-cymru.co.uk (no booking fee).
