Exciting bands to appear at Hendre Rocks

HENDRE Hall will host the very first Hendre Rocks event this month.

The idea behind the event is to give up-and-coming bands a chance to play live music and have the opportunity to mix with and learn from some of the more experienced musicians who will also be appearing on Saturday, April 25.

Nine bands have already been lined up for the night.

They are Valleum, Entity, Lantern, Zapian, My Turn To Kill, Aveneta, The Hipps, The Shivering Hills and Fake City Lights.

The tenth spot is up for grabs via Emily Carr’s Unsigned Acts Show which launched on Radio Tudno FM last Thursday.

The competition will run for a couple of weeks and the eventual winners will be the the tenth act to appear at Hendre.

Emily Carr will also be hosting the evening at Hendre.

Bands who want to compete in the competition can send their demo discs to embo2k3@hotmail.com or go on to Facebook and search for Hendre Rocks for more details. Hendre Rocks starts at 8pm and will finish at 1am.Tickets are priced just £7 and can be bought on the night on the door.
