NORTH Wales Weekly News reporter Samantha Castle was invited to join the privileged elite and experienced a new invigorating way of discovering the real North Wales with Quaddragon Road Buggies and you can watch her video by clicking the link above.
I got to drive and was in complete charge of my own top of the range, two seater on-road buggy for the afternoon.
Ross Sergent of Quaddragon Road Buggies was my experienced guide who escorted me on his Harley Davidson bike keeping in touch via an intercom link- (so he probably heard my cussing!)
I gradually learned how to tamed the powerful buggy to heel throughout the afternoon's adventure whilst taking in some breathtaking local beauty spots.
All of Ross’s buggies are fully road legal and I felt safe and snug in a full body harness, helmet and overalls.
The vehicles are purposely built to enable you to explore and experience the region’s stunning scenery whether it’s rugged terrain or the pure rawness and tranquillity of the stunning locations you want to discover, the choice is completely yours.
For my hours adventure we took the buggy down to Conwy Quay past the famous smallest house and then over the Sychnant Pass, but if we had more time we would of driven down the Conwy Valley and explored Crafnant Lake carrying on towards Snowdonia National Park.
With a top speed of 50mph it was a totally invigorating ride that I would fully recommend to anyone wanting a bit of adventure.
