DEGANWY achieved the result of the day in North Wales Coast League Section A when they defeated previously unbeaten leaders Denbigh 9-5.
Champions Colwyn Bay RBL maintained their winning ways with a testing 8-6 victory at battling Bangor City.
Chris Slater and John Crowl, both 21- 9, tipped the verdict for the Bay who currently lie fourth in the table.
Impressive Llanrwst turned over Beaumaris A 11-3, Rhos Park A ran out impressive 10-4 victors at struggling Llanfairpwll and St Asaph were pipped 9-5 at Penmaenmawr.
In Division B, Mochdre claimed a 9-5 triumph at Bethesda, Ron Williams 21- 8, Graham Rogers 21-9 topped the board as Min-y-Don Park despatched Eirias Park 10-4, Shirley Clayton 21-9 replying, but Caernarfon had their promotion ambitions dimmed in a 10-4 defeat at Rhos Park B. In a local derby, Conwy pipped Llandudno 8-6.

RHOS Park celebrated a 7-3 win at Colwyn Bay RBL in last Tuesday’s Blackwell Hydraulics Welsh Counties League local derby.
Roger Wilson 21-9, Steve Lawley 21- 15, Ivor Jones 21-16 and Mark Billington and Glyn Jones, both 21-17, led Rhos to a 152-137 aggregate advantage, Alan Evans 21-13, Henry Campbell 21- 16 and Steve Jones 21-18 replying for Bay.
Mid-table Deganwy Jones Roofing triumphed 7-3 at Llanfairpwll, Darren Williams 21-9, Scott Todd and Bobby Newell, both 21-12, Geraint Jones 21-15 and Dave Roberts 21-18 all victorious.
Not such a good night for second- placed Llanrwst who went down 7-3 to Gresford and it could have been worse, Mark Parry and John Bailey only winning 21-20 while Anthony Bailey was more comfortable at 21-11.
In their derby against arch rivals Sunny Rhyl, St Asaph were trounced 8- 2 at home, Gareth Wilson 21-12 and Lewis Scott 21-20 their sole success stories.
IN the Vale of Clwyd Midweek League, rampant leaders St Asaph ran up another resounding 13-1 victory as only Bill Glazier 21-11 rescued Highbury from a total wipe-out in their Division A clash.
In another comfortable stroll Lewis Scott 21-4 and Dave Phillips 21-6 led the formidable Saints home but third- placed Old Colwyn kept their challenge together with a 10-4 win over Trefnant A, Jim Payton 21-9 their top block, Martin Fearnley 21-7 Trefnant’s pick.
Dennis Lloyd 21-4 and Jeff Bamford 21-6 guided Abergele to a 9-5 success over Dyserth A but Rhuddlan fell 9-5 at Meliden.
Division B front-runners Copperfields saw their promotion hopes bruised in an 8-6 blow at closest rivals Grove Park, Tony Blackwell 21-4 helping tip it for the Rhyl hosts but Bryn Newydd were too strong for St Asaph B and finished 10-4 clear.
Jim Lester 21-9 assisted Kinmel Bay A a 9-4 win over third-placed Llysfaen while Sheila Herbert 21-9 was East Parade A's top performer in their 8-6 nail-biter at Rhuddlan.
Dave Chirgwin 21-4 and Mike Stanley 21-6 landed Sunny Rhyl a 8-4 derby victory over Rhyl A while Joe Hibbert 21-6 could not save Rhos Park from a 10- 4 defeat at East Parade B in Division C, Dave Taylor 21-7.
