LLANDUDNO shared four goals with Tameside seconds at home to record their second 2-2 draw in succession.
In a frenetic match in which neither side could gain ascendancy, Tudno opened the scoring after 10 minutes when Martin Williams fired home from a narrow angle.
The visitors fought back strongly, but came up against an in-form mounting pressure on the Llandudno goal that included several penalty corners, but they were kept out by some stout goalkeeping from Llandudno stand-in goalkeeper in Matt Roddy who also stopped a penalty flick.
But the pressure told and Tameside equalised about 10 minutes before the break.
In the second half Llandudno regained the lead after nine minutes when Williams produced a replica of his earlier effort but again the visitors hit back to level from a penalty corner.
Llandudno travel to division leaders Lymm on Saturday.
Colwyn Bay edged out basement rivals Knutsford 3-1 in a bottom of the table clash in Division Two of the North League.
Darren Jones deflected a short corner to open the scoring for the Bay, before fo the BatA scrappy affair from the off, with both teams seeming determined to give the ball away to their opposition, the opening goal was not much prettier as a Darren Jones short corner was deflected past the Knutsford keeper.
The the ever-impressive Josh Williams made it 2-0. two for Bay after 25 minutes, again from a short corner which he pounced on when the initial shot was saved.
And Williams’ solo run set up it was his solo run past five Knustford defenders that set up the chance for Matt Mahon to fire home a third, while Knutsford pulled one back late on.to score the third with a first time touch past the visiting keeper.
John Beattie worked tirelessly in the midfield all afternoon and Colwyn Bay looked solid in defence with Simon Roscoe and Graham Dicken dominating events at the back for the most part.
Knutsford scraped a consolation goal with 15 minutes of the game left, but it was the Bay who looked the more likely to score in the final moments.
