Football: Llandudno FC down to fourth place

A FRUSTRATING week for Llandudno FC has seen them drop to fourth in the Huws Gray Cymru Alliance League.

Last Wednesday the Seasiders suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at Maesdu Park to Mold, who scored the only goal through Owain Roberts on 47 minutes.

It was Tudno's first home defeat of the season and their first loss in the league in 13 matches.

Then on Saturday, Llandudno's home clash with Guilsfield was postponed due to an unfit pitch.

Results elsewhere meant Grant Montgomery and James Cornish's side slipped to fourth.

Last night (Wednesday) Tudno were due to play a friendly at Colwyn Bay then this Saturday they return to league action at Ruthin Town.
