CRICKET A and Penmaenmawr fought out a tough 3-3 draw in the Gap-Personnel Thursday Snooker League, despite the visitors getting off to a flying 2-0 lead.
Paul Hughes and Mike Wilson put Pen two to the good, Wilson’s potting and break-building powers continuing with him getting the season’s highest break so far in the process, an excellent 64 after Mark Parry led for most of the frame. Hughes won a close frame on the black after Andy Bray had cued well.
But it was soon 2-2 as Eddie Scott ended Lee Booth’s 100% record and Dyfrig Thomas beat Pen Dylan Rowlands in a close match on the pink.
The last two games were split with Alan Jones winning for Pen and Loz Evans replying for Cricket to give both these sides a share of the points as they stay in third and fourth in the table.

MARK Parry stamped his authority on his game from the start and then Delivered a cracking 53 break to set Crosville on their way to a 5-0 demolition of Conwy Golf in the Active CCTV and Surveilance / Conwy Mussel Company Conwy and District Wednesday Snooker League.
Wins by Dyfrig Thomas, Chris Black, Loz Evans and captain Eddy Scott completed the rout.
Llandudno Legion continued their excellent start to the season beating the Labour club 4-1, Gaz Evans, Kevin Williams, Dave Evans and captain Phil Kearney saw them through to another emphatic victory that keeps them at the top of the league, Dave Ebbrell replying for the Labour Club.
Llanddulas Legion had a fine win against Mochdre B. The in form veteran Doug Bailey again played some good snooker to keep up his good start. This set the Legion on their way with the other wins coming from Tony Cannon and Roy Jarvis who won the battle of the captains, Brian and Nathan Jones replying for Mochdre.
