Football: A Co-op receipt equals a Colwyn Bay FC child ticket

UNIBOND League Division One North leaders Colwyn Bay FC have teamed up with main sponsor The Co-operative Food with a unique promotion to offer free child tickets for the game against Ossett on November 7 at Llanelian Road (3pm kick-off).

The Co-operative will fund free entry for any child producing a Co-operative till receipt from any of its North Wales stores no matter what they spend. The terms are one receipt per child.

Mal Jackson, Colwyn Bay FC’s community development director, commented: "This is a first for CBFC and perhaps the first time a free ticket scheme has worked in this way within a lot of non- league clubs.

"We already receive support throughout the season from Llandrillo College, who help fund free child entry, so this promotion complements the continued support from Llandrillo by offering the scheme to the wider community."
