Table tennis: Y Morfa top the Llandudno league

Y MORFA A went top of the Llandudno and District Table Tennis League first division with a 9-1 victory over Denbigh A.

Two very close first division games were both decided 16-14 in the fifth set. Police A’s Kevin Evans sneaked past Y Morfa’s Mike Tattum, while Craig-y-Don’s Nigel Watson pipped Y Morfa’s Geoff Hollis.

In division two Craig-y-Don B, aided by a maximum from Ady Waugh, remain top despite losing out 6-4 to Police B.
