Mochdre A beat the Labour Club by the odd frame, victories for D Jones, G Jones and new signing Mike Noden.
Last year’s champions Crosville continue to struggle after another defeat away to the Malt Loaf.
Crosville have now lost two of their three matches, one more defeat than the whole of last season. Loaf winners were Terry Lea, Ian Hughes and Adam Chance, replies from D Thomas and Mark Parry for the busmen.
Llanddulas Legion got their first win of the season by beating Conwy Golf. Doug Bailey was on form with a 30 break, while Tony Cannon and Tom Owen were the other winners, Dennis Eccles and Trevor Jones for the Golf.
CRICKET B took over top berth in the Gap-Personnel Thursday Snooker League thanks to a convincing 5-1 victory over Legion B last Thursday.
Roy Passmore beat Tom Sykes by the narrowest of margins 65-64, Wayne Noble overcame George Bartlett 67-30, Gron Edwards defeated Glyn Nields 55-41, Haydn Phillips outscored Tim Williams 59-31 and Tony Kearney took 62-33 verdict against Terry Lea, but Legion did manage one win with Derek Eccleston managing to see off Aidan Murgatroyd 74-44.
