Llandudno sealed a second win from two games to stay top of North West Division Five South thanks to two brilliantly taken goals by Will Hughes.

Tom Simpson had put the visitors in front after being played through by James Simpson and lashing a shot between the keeper’s legs.

Sale equalised soon after, but Tudno’s lead was restored when Lewis Sanford found Martin Williams in the D who squared for Hughes to slot in just before the break.

Llandudno were guilty of not taking their second half chances until 10 minutes from time Williams found Hughes who held off a defender and superbly beat the oncoming keeper.
