DESPITE the massive gap between these sides, full-timers TNS needed extra time to see off the challenge of Welsh Alliance minnows Conwy United at the Morfa Stadium.
Musselmen keeper Richard Dolphin was a true hero, saving a first half penalty from Jamie Wood and producing a number of other superb stops.
Craig Williams finally broke the deadlock after 95 minutes when he chased a through ball and lobbed in from 15 yards.
Steve Abbott soon added a second from close range.
Conwy had their moments, Steve Warburton, centre forward Matthew Bennett and Callum Vernon all going close.
