Semi-final results: A & J Bailey bt N & C Charlton 21-9, D Williams & P Jones bt G & D Jones 21-10.

The Hughes family thank everyone who attended and sponsors Lee Paulley and Brian Duffy of Vital Turf Management.

RHOS Park started their defence of the Prestatyn-based Roving Jack League by beating last year’s runners- up Hotpoint 7-0.

Nomads and Allsorts also won 7-0 against Rebels and Mojos respectively whilst Harlequins defeated Craig-y-Don 6-1 and WDP overcame Medals 4-3.

It has been a fantastic season for two local teams in their respective senior leagues.

Conwy finished top of Division C of the Gwynedd Seniors Bowling League having won all 14 of their matches.

Such an impressive 100% record meant Conwy won the title by 34 points from nearest challengers Llanfair PG.

Meanwhile, Mochdre Park B celebrated success at the double in the Clwydian Senior Citizens League.

They topped the Division D table after compiling outstanding statistics of 21 wins in 24 matches, finishing on 203 points – 13 ahead of second-placed Rhyl B.

And Mochdre were not finished there as they also won the Division D Cup, outscoring Bryn Newydd B 6-5 (182-140) in the final at St Asaph, having dispatched Denbigh B and East Parade B in the earlier rounds.
