Darts: Foelas Arms close to superleague glory

FOELAS Arms scored another win to increase their lead to 21 points at the top of the Gwynedd Men’s Superleague.

They beat second-placed Caernarfon Town FSC. Clive Davies scored the Foelas’ top average of 27.83 in their 5-3 home result, Alun Pritchard, Warren Green, Ifor Davies and Eifion Hughes their other winners.

Wellmans are now in third position following a 7-1 win over the Foresters.

Penrhyn Arms overcame Unicorn 5-3, Ian Gareth Jones, Larry Ellis, Stephen Williams, Andy Sheridan and Sam Bradley on target.

Wynnes Arms just edged out BRI 5-3. Andrew Jones, Paul Jones, Mike Beards, Julien Jeffrey and Heber Thomas won for the Blaenau side.

Dolgarrog Social Club won 6-2 at Twthill, Elwyn Jones, Gareth Jones, Michael Roberts, Keith Watson, Ron Cox and Kevin Bisp on the mark for the Valley boys.
