ABERGELE Harriers scored 680 points to stay well clear of the relegation positions in Division One of the Borders Road Running League when the fourth round was held at Caernarfon last Sunday.
Josh Dixon was the club’s first runner home in 34mins 27secs, finishing second in the Under-20 category, with team captain Darren Blazier not far behind in 14th place overall.
Tim Cahill finished second male over-45 (18th overall) to consolidate third place overall in that age category, while Dewi Roberts was first male over-40 on the day (22nd overall).

The Abergele club’s runners, who held their 2008 presentation night this week, are next in action in the fourth round of the Grand Prix Express Cross Country League in Wrexham on January 17.
