BETWS-Y-COED lost 5-0 to Porthmadog A in a re-arranged fixture in Division Two of the Bayonet Winter Golf League last weekend.

That puts Porthmadog within 9½ points of Division Two leaders Conwy B with two matches in hand.

Conwy A have had their lead in Division One cut to 2½ points by Royal St David’s (Harlech) who have claimed a 5-0 walkover against Holyhead who pulled out of their recent fixture at Harlech due to a bereavement.

Scheduled fixtures for this weekend (January 4) are: Div 1: Conwy A v Henllys, North Wales v Penmaenmawr. Div 2: Conwy B v Betws-y-Coed, St Deiniol (Bangor) v Porthmadog A. Div 3: Abersoch v Caernarfon.
