GLAN CONWY and LLANRWST UNITED both bid to reach the last 16 of the FAW Welsh Trophy this Saturday.
Llanrwst travel to fellow Welsh Alliance side Rhydymwyn having won five of their last six league and cup games.
Rhydymwyn are currently fourth in the table, but Llanrwst drew 0-0 there in the league in August.
Glan Conwy are at home to Borras Park Albion (2pm), who are currently bottom of the Wrexham Area League's Premier Division with five defeats in their six games.
CONWY UNITED moved into the top three of the Design2Print Welsh Alliance table with a 4-0 home win over Amlwch last Friday night.
And manager Eifion Hughes will have been delighted with his side's first clean sheet after criticising their naive defending the previous week.
Although their top three position is somewhat false as they have played more games than anyone else bar Rhyl, last Friday's result will have given everybody a lift ahead of this Saturday's big challenge against top of the table Rhyl at the Morfa (2.30pm).
Callum Vernon put Conwy in front from Matthew Cassidy's cross and Dean Wright and Darren Evans were both denied by the keeper before Oliver Walters made it 2-0 from the penalty spot.
In the second half Matt Cassidy added the third and 16-year-old Toby Jones came off the bench to get his third goal in three games.
LLANDUDNO JUNCTION led 2-0 at Rhyl on Tuesday night, but finished up losing 7-3 against a side that included former Welsh international Neil Roberts among five Rhyl first teamers.
"The score doesn’t reflect the game or how well we played," said Junction boss Shane Cartwright.
" It took a very controversial penalty and a goal we felt was yards offside to get them back on terms."
Simon Kay, Paul Cassidy and Nathan Jones scored for Junction, while Matty Williams scored a hat-trick for Rhyl, with Greg Strong, Joe Ahern, Neil Roberts and Mike Roose the other scorers.
