Rugby Union: Colwyn Bay youth side wins against Pwllheli

COLWYN Bay Youth ran in four tries in a 27-5 win at home over Pwllheli in what was an efficient and workmanlike performance.

Jason Hughes was relishing his role at No8, only being picked in that position minutes before the game after Mo Portilio was drafted to the seconds.

Hughes caused havoc in the Pwllheli defence and after breaking off the back of a scrum enabled centre Tom Roberts to go over for a try, which Spencer Lumby converted. Winger Matt Jones scored a second try before the break and prop Glyn Griffiths and Jones added others.
