NANT CONWY extended their lead at the top of Division One North with a hard-fought 8-6 win at Pwllheli.
With Caernarfon's home match against Colwyn Bay a victim of the weather, Nant Conwy lead the table by seven points after full-back Trystan ap Howell scored the only try of the game in mudbath conditions and Carwyn ap Myrddyn added a penalty.
Pwllhelli replied with two penlaties from wing Gethin Roberts.
Caernarfon, however, now have two games in hand.
Llandudno won another close game 14-12 at Llanidloes after resting a number of key players ahead of next Saturday's Swalec Cup clash against Ebbw Vale (2pm).
Steve Lester and Ed Weston ran in tries for Llandudno, with Rhodri Carlton-Jones adding both conversions.
