Football: Junction complete double over Conwy United
PAUL CASSIDY scored the only goal of the game against his former club as Llandudno Junction completed a Christmas derby double over Conwy United in the Welsh Alliance Football League.
His 55th minute goal gave Junction a 1-0 win to follow their 2-1 win at Conwy the previous Saturday and extended his side's recent good run to just one defeat in seven games.
Llanrwst United have moved into the top three after a 2-0 home win over Glan Conwy with goals from Gwion Schiavone and Bryn Jenkins, while keeper Paul Roberts saved a Shaun Shannon penalty.
