LLANDUDNO are struggling with a mounting injury list – with the new Cymru Alliance season only 10 days away.
Gwyn Peters already looks likely to miss the first game with a pulled hamstring, while new signings Chris Boulton (calf), Jason Sadler (back), Chris Hogg (ankle) and Caerwyn Roberts (calf) are all under treatment.
Llandudno play Unibond League side Trafford at Maesdu Park on Saturday (2.30), but joint manager Grant Montgomery commented: "We are going to have to be very careful. It’s a nightmare at the moment and we can’t afford for anyone else to get injured."
Injuries and unavailability meant Llandudno had to field a much weakened side last Saturday against Manchester side Hollinwood, and they lost 3-2 after going behind in the opening six minutes.
Llandudno did get level at 1-1 before Hollinwood took a 3-1 lead with their third goal coming from a perfectly judged lob from near the half-way line.
Adam Jones and Jody Hamilton got Llandudno's goals.
