LLANDUDNO made it a hat-trick of North Wales Cricket League Premier Division titles after thrashing doomed St Asaph by 117 runs at Elwy Park on Saturday.
Opting to bat first, Tudno declared on 204 for eight in the 50th over, Duncan Midgley top scoring with a very good 64, well supported by Steve Smith (39) in an 89-run opening partnership. Owen Jones added 27, Elgan Williams 26 and Romain Grenville 26.
In reply, St Asaph had 60 overs to reach the required total, but were bowled out for just 87.
Figures for Tudno included a very good four for 42 by Grenville with excellent support from Jonathan Gallagher (three for 14) and Graham Boase (two for 10) to seal a 28-3 triumph.
Delighted Llandudno skipper Aled Williams said: “I am very happy to win the Premier League again this year. After a good start, we had an unsteady mid-season, but the team showed its character, coming back to win crucial end of season matches.”

LLANDUDNO 2NDS rounded off their campaign with a 90-run victory over Corwen.
Winning the toss, skipper Ajay Dhawan elected to bat first and his team posted 187 for four.
Martin Bean (32) and Phil Williams (31) shared in a fourth wicket stand of 65, Alex Owen (37 not out), Andy Christian (23), Luke Regan (20) and Neil Gallagher (16) all boosting the total.
Despite an aggressive 39 from Nathan Aldridge, Corwen’s response ended on 97 all out, having been 63 for two at one stage.
Gallagher took an outstanding six for 21 in his 10.5 overs, Phil Williams two for 33.
Llandudno's 20 points edged them above Gresford to a mid-table finish in their first season in division one, but Corwen who were promoted with Tudno last year, are relegated back to division two.
