CONWY secured their place in Division Two of the North Wales League with a bank holiday weekend double in which Ioan Williams took eight wickets and Dave Wilkinson contributed 75 runs.
Ioan took 5 for 38 off 12 overs in a 70- run win at Halkyn on Saturday, as the home side were bowled out for 79 (Dave Owen 12-4-21-3).
Conwy had earlier posted 1497 for 7 in which Dave Wilkinson hit 44 and Ioan Williams 34.
Then on Monday Ioan took 3 for 31 as Bangor 2nds were bowled out for 59 (Dan Davies 3 for 5, Dave Owen 3 for 27) after Conwy had scored 94 all out in difficult batting conditions, with Dave Wilkinson again top scoring on 31.
The win double puts Conwy 22 points clear of the one relegation place with three games left.
Conwy 2nds lost by eight wickets against Mochdre 2nds on Sunday after collapsing from 55 for 3 to 80 all out.
The spin of Alastair Paterson changed the game as he took 4 for 17 in nine overs, supported by Roy Stevens (3 for 18), following tight early bowling by Rhys Williams (2 for 5 in 8 overs) and Sean McHale, who conceded just 17 runs in his seven overs.
Mochdre’s reply saw opening batsmen Joe Chaplin (32) and Alun Evans (15) put on 46 for the first wicket, before Ross Stevens (18 not out) and Sab Muthusamy (8 not out) completed the victory.

Conwy 2nds had their against Connah's Quay abandoned on Saturday after scoring 120 for 6, while Mochdre 2nds lost to Pontblyddyn.
