TWO lifeboat crews were called out to search for a yacht which had suffered engine failure near Conwy last night.
The sailor on board called coastguards from his mobile phone but was unsure where about his 26ft fishing vessel called Arrowhawk was stranded.
It suffered electrical failure and had a fuel pipe problem.
Volunteers from Llandudno and Conwy RNLI lifeboat stations launched a joint search operation and found the skipper and his boat near the Conwy River just after 6pm.
They towed the yacht into Conwy Marina where it was moored.
