Man arrested after car crash

A MAN has been arrested after a car crashed and overturned.

The vehicle collided with a tree and a house’s garage in Llanelian Road in Old Colwyn.

North Wales Police made an arrest shortly after the incident happened last Wednesday.

A police spokesman said the force helicopter was scrambled as officers searched for the unnamed man at 2.46pm.

He added: “The car hit a tree, a garage wall and overturned. A man was arrested by 3pm.”

The crash is understood to have damaged a telegraph pole. A BT spokesman said lines to two customers went down.
