Ysgol Llanfairtalhaiarn helps centre reach visitor landmark

PUPILS from Ysgol Llanfair Talhaiarn in Abergele helped a North Wales safety centre celebrate its 30,000th visitor.

Since opening in October 2005, safety education centre DangerPoint has welcomed thousands of children and young people.

Dafydd Wyn-Edwards, Conwy Road Safety Team, said: “DangerPoint provides a unique learning experience for children and young people and Conwy Road Safety Section is pleased that pupils from each school in the county are given the opportunity to benefit.”

A spokesperson from the school added: “We enjoyed today and learnt a lot from our visit.

“The children and staff from Ysgol Talhaiarn have all enjoyed learning about dangers that are around us in a very friendly and real way.”
