Coastal brush-up
IT was thirsty work for the volunteers who helped clean up beaches in Conwy during the hot weather.
Volunteers from Deganwy, Craig-y-Don and Llanfairfechan played their part in the Big Spring Clean to tidy up the coastline.
A total of 143 volunteers, including Conwy Scouts, Deganwy Residents’ Association, Ty Llewellyn Community House, Ysgol Babanod Llanfairfechan and Ysgol Pant y Rhedyn removed over 100 bags of rubbish from the coast.
Ceri Morris from Keep Wales Tidy said: “It was great to see so many people keen to come out and clean their coastline.”
