ALTHOUGH just under 200 days away, Christmas panto preparation is already in full swing.
Venue Cymru, Llandudno will boast real-life couple Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane as they star in the most popular pantomime of them all, Cinderella, with former model Linda playing the Fairy Godmother and Brookside and Coronation Street star Sam playing the dashing Prince.
Michael Harrison, managing director of Qdos Entertainment’s panto division and executive producer of Cinderella, said: “Following our hugely successful production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs last year we are delighted to give North Wales audiences another spectacular pantomime to remember.”
Cinderella will appear at Venue Cymru from December 11 until January 2 (tickets 01492 872000 or venuecymru.co.uk).
Moving east to the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl and audiences can expect a warm welcome from Peter Pan starring Steffan Rhodri who plays Dave Coaches in Gavin and Stacey and who will take up the role of Captain Hook, with other cast members to be announced in the near future.

Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold will boast Phylip Harries as Widow Twankey in Aladdin – The Wok ‘n’ Roll Panto, a fun packed show with lashings of audience participation, plenty of laughs and heaps of slapstick mixed with the traditional ingredients that make up the best in festive fun – served up with over 20 classic hits, all played live by a cast of 10 actor/ musicians.
Aladdin will run from November 26 to January 29 (tickets 0845 330 3565 or clwyd-theatr-cymru.co.uk).
Aladdin will also be produced at the Liverpool Empire Theatre with the cast being revealed very soon.
