GENEROUS people in the Conwy Valley who helped Patsy the pony serve the community have gone one hoof further by recruiting another pony – Perry – for use by underprivileged children.
In 2009, Aberconwy Pony Club tirelessly fundraised to acquire Perry for children from low income families to ride in the Dolgarrog area.
Wendy Tobias Jones set up the charity Ride 4 Five some years ago.
The charity was devised so that riding would be available to all children no matter what their circumstances.
The North East Wales branch of the British Horse Society is helping to fund Perry, who is being cared for by the Aberconwy Pony Club.
