John Bright pupils help primary school teachers

FIRST year pupils at Ysgol John Bright have been working with their former primary school teachers on a project to encourage children to take the lead in lessons.
The Year 7 pupils ledŠand hosted a presentation of the school’s Student Plenary Project to head teachers and staff from primary schools in the Llandudno area.
The session saw the eight 11-12 year old youngsters teaching the primary school teachers how to develop pupils to take a leading role in lessons by ensuring their learning is something they are active in.
The event was hailed a great success and will lead in coming months to Ysgol John Bright pupils working within the primary schools to share the insights and experiences they have developed since moving to the school in September.
