Abergele jeweller makes bling from biscuit tins

Bling from biscuit tins

A JEWELLERY maker is making quirky bling from recycled modern and vintage biscuit, sweet and cake tins.

Kate Hamilton-Hunter fashions her ‘planet-friendly’ products at her studio in Station Business Park, Pensarn, Abergele.

But she’s short of tin so has set up the world’s first ‘tin amnesty’.

She said: “We were inundated with orders over the Christmas period and we’re running short of tins, so have decided to hold the world’s first tin amnesty.”

So if you find some knocking about whilst doing your spring clean or you've just managed to finish the last of the Christmas chocolate biscuits, pop down to the Studio 3A in Pensarn.

Tin donators calling there before May 1 get the chance to win £50 worth of jewellery in a prize draw.
