Cut your carbon costs
BUSINESSES are being invited to attend a free interactive workshop on how cutting carbon emissions can save costs.
The Carbon Trust is holding a one-day energy management workshop at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Tuesday, June 16.
Carbon Trust Wales helped organisations across Wales save over £29 million last year alone.
This workshop will offer practical advice, from understanding your energy bill and monitoring energy consumption to how best to reduce your carbon footprint.
Mike Batt, manager of Carbon Trust Wales (pictured), said: “Introducing energy efficiency practices in the workplace can save businesses up to 20% on their power bills.
“In the current economic climate, that should certainly not be underestimated.”
Cathryn Williams of the Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham said she attended the free workshop last summer and found it very useful:
“We were shown how to decipher energy bills and given lots of little hints to reduce the amount of energy we use in the workplace,” she said.
