Only Fools and Horses star John Challis opens Colwyn Bay ice rink

Stars put their skates on
SHOPPERS turned out in their droves at the opening of Colwyn Bay’s festive ice rink on Seaview Road this week.
Star of Only Fools and Horses and The Green, Green Grass John Challis opened the rink together with other members of the cast of Venue Cymru’s pantomime Dick Whittington.
The rink will be open daily between 11am-8.45pm until January 4. The attraction will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve, reopening at 12pm on Boxing Day, close early on New Year’s Eve at 6pm, and open again at 11am on New Year’s Day.
There will also be a Santa’s grotto and children’s rides.
