Top prize for school yard
PUPILS at Ysgol Bod Alaw celebrated winning first prize of the Colwyn in Bloom schools competition for their good work for the environment.
The children at the school on Abergele Road in Colwyn Bay have tended to their garden, which was previously wasteland.
Headteacher, Gwenda Pringle explained: “The children planted in some flowers over wasteground so the school yard is looking lovely. They also have a fruit and vegetable garden as well.”
