TELEVISION presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Gethin Jones is the latest celebrity to pledge his support to the “Happy Days” campaign which demonstrates how libraries can make you happy.
Designed to encourage everyone to take a fresh look at their library, the campaign was launched by Assembly heritage minister Alun Ffred Jones.
Gethin Jones is joined by other celebrities visiting libraries across Wales including Cerys Matthews, Stuart Cable and Colin Jackson in support of the campaign.
He will be doing a question and answer session and meeting users at Colwyn Bay library on Thursday, October 30 between 10am and midday.
The event is open to the public and tickets are available on a first come, first served basis from the library on 01492 532358.
Gethin said: “I’m delighted to be part of this exciting campaign. Libraries have always played an important part in my life from when I was a child choosing my favourite books through to studying for my degree at university.”
