A GROUP of environmentally active students have finished a project planting bulbs and cleaning a college pond in Rhos-on-Sea.
Students from the vocational preparation group helped in the clean-up operation at Coleg Llandrillo. The course was developed for students with learning difficulties and tutor Collette Williams explained the college was a more cheerful place thanks to their hard work.
“The students worked really hard planting daffodils, shrubs, roses, rhododendrons and climbers to make the area a pleasant place to sit in the summer months, for students and staff,” she said. “They have also made wooden planters and planted bedding plants in them.”
