Walk the planks on pier tour

THE brother of comedienne Victoria Wood is inviting people to join him for a walk on Llandudno pier on Saturday.
In 2007 author Chris Foote Wood went round all 56 UK piers to write a book entitled Walking Over the Waves – Quintessential British Seaside Piers and he is revisiting them during his PierCrawl 2008.
“Piercrawlers can walk the planks with me or at any time to suit themselves and I want piercrawlers to take photos and videos of themselves on the piers and send them in, to go on the piercrawl website. It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said.
Chris will be walking along Llandudno pier starting from the gates at 11.30am on Saturday.
