Ladies bare all for charity calendar

A BUSINESS is set to celebrate its 15th birthday next month by launching a daring calendar which takes its inspiration from a hit film.

Abergele Mobility, based on Bridge Street, is hoping to raise funds for North Wales hospice T Gobaith by releasing a special celebratory calendar themed on 2003 Brit flick Calendar Girls.

“It was a really good experience for everyone – none of us have ever done anything like this before,” said care manager Anna Rose.

“We do a lot of fundraising activities and thought this would be something different and a lot of fun at the same time.”

The firm’s female employees bared all for a variety of images used in the new calendar, which uses different themes for each month of the year.

“Some of the themes are fairly well-known such as having a Welsh one to celebrate St David’s Day in March, but we’ve also managed to set January’s image inside one of the pubs which sponsors us and one of the months covers Race for Life because so many of us do it,” added Anna.

Copies of the calendar will be available directly from the company, the OCS Care Agency on Rhuddlan Road and other Abergele retailers.
