A MAN has been left traumatised after suffering a serious assault in a Colwyn Bay pub on Saturday.
The incident happened at around 2am when the 25-year-old man was punched and kicked by two men in the Litten Tree pub on Station Road. As a result he suffered head and serious leg injuries.
Detective Constable John Gage of Central CID said: "This was a cowardly, unprovoked attack on an unsuspecting man who had no chance of protecting himself. The victim is traumatised as a result of his assault and his recovery will take months. There were a number of people in the public house at the time of the incident and we urge anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward."
