Work on roads

CARRIAGEWAY resurfacing works are to be carried out on the A5 trunk road at Pentrefoelas during September.
Notice has been given by Conwy County Council and the Assembly of the scheduled roadworks starting Monday, September 1 until Tuesday, September 30, or until the works are completed.
The road affected will be the length of the trunk road at Pentrefoelas which extends from the centrepoint of the junction of the unclassified road leading to the private property known as Llwyn Onn to a point 100 metres west of the of the junction and the A543 road leading to Denbigh.
Temporary restrictions, to be signed accordingly, include a 40mph or 10mph speed limit along the length of the trunk road and a 40mph speed limit which will operate throughout the full extent of the resurfacing work schedule.
