Business booms for adventure Buggy Tours

HOBBIES of the rich and famous are fast becoming a reality as one Craig-y-Don based businessman brings the first ever on-road buggy tour of Conwy County.

Quaddragon Road Buggies, located at the rear of Mostyn Avenue, takes paying customers on a number of exciting adventure routes, taking in the views that normally motorists don’t experience.

Anyone taking part in the buggy tours will be able to see Snowdonia National Park and North Wales as they have never seen before. Business owner, Ross Sergent take drivers through fords and forests, around lakes, rivers and waterfalls, over moors, mountain passes and through tunnels.

“I have always been interested in motorbikes and I used to love taking my Harley round North Wales,” said Ross, 45.

“I thought it would be a great idea to start up something similar with the buggy tours so everyone could experience first-hand the fantastic scenery the region has to offer. So I ended up purchasing two buggies.”

Quaddragon Road Buggies has only been going for two years but is already proving popular with visitors and locals alike receiving rave feedback.

“What makes the tours unique and an adventure is letting people drive their own buggy because they are actually experiencing it for themselves, getting closer to the action which you wouldn’t normally experience in the car,” added Ross.

“Even when it rains, which it does a lot in North Wales, people still find it enjoyable. People face a lot of everyday stresses and we find our tours are another way for people to unwind and escape, we’ve had mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, friends and couples all taking up the challenge so far.

“We provide a totally safe and controlled environment, after all it’s a tour not a race,” said Ross.

Quaddragon Road Buggies provide one hour tours for £50, half days for £100 and full day tours for £150. All you need is a full driving licence with no more than six penalty points, and be aged over 21. Call 01492 876686 or 07775 766460 for bookings.
